InPhase Technologies appoints Mike Gustafson to board of directors

InPhase Technologies, the leader in holographic data storage systems and media, have announced that Mike Gustafson, senior vice president of worldwide marketing at McDATA Corporation, has been appointed to its board of directors.
“In 2005, InPhase will deliver the industry’s first holographic data storage products to the marketplace and, as we move forward, we will call on Mike’s wealth of marketing and sales experience, which will enable us to maintain a customer-centric point of view,” said Steve Kitrosser, chairman of the board for InPhase. “A key area of focus for InPhase will be the delivery of solutions that integrate with network storage systems, and Mike’s experience and insight will aid greatly in this endeavour.”
In his current position at McDATA, Gustafson is responsible for McDATA's marketing efforts, including driving brand awareness and long-term market strategy on a global scale. Prior to his current position, Mike served as McDATA's vice president of worldwide sales from 1999 to 2002, where he was responsible for McDATA's Fibre Channel, software and services sales organisation, including both channel and OEM sales.
Before joining McDATA, Gustafson spent nine years in various sales and marketing positions within IBM. He was the director of IBM’s US channel field sales and managed the domestic sales organisation for IBM’s multi-billion dollar Personal System Group.
Gustafson holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
