Avid To Demonstrate VENUE Systems At ISE 2018

Avid has announced that it will demonstrate its award-winning live sound console, Avid VENUE | S6L, at the world's largest AV systems integration show, Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2018.

The family of consoles has long been one of the most used and requested in the world, and the legacy continues with Avid VENUE | S6L. At booth #7-R230 at ISE, Avid will deliver hands-on demos of the fully modular and scalable live sound mixing system. Powered by MediaCentral®, the industry's most open and efficient platform designed for media, Avid will showcase Avid VENUE | S6L's seamless integration with Avid Pro Tools®, as well as on-board industry-standard plug-ins, with higher track counts and more processing power than ever before. With a full array of network and I/O offerings, users can easily configure the Avid VENUE | S6L for a range of live sound mixing applications, including front-of-house, monitor, broadcast, theater, and more.

Avid will also feature the new Avid VENUE | On-Stage iOS app for its award-winning live sound system. The software update and On-Stage app introduce a range of exciting new control surfaces and software workflows, enabling monitor engineers to remotely control any mix from any location. Monitor engineers now have the flexibility to take control of their individual monitor mixes using a rich user interface on an iPad, iPhone or iPod, and step away from the Avid mixing system to fine tune individual monitor mixes while on stage, hearing exactly what the performers hear.

Following the announcement at NAMM 2018, Avid is also giving live sound engineers the Waves SoundGrid tie-in they've been asking for. The new Waves SoundGrid High Density (WSG-HD) Option Card and Avid VENUE™ software update for the award-winning Avid VENUE | S6L delivers comprehensive hardware and software integration with Waves SoundGrid systems. This collaboration gives live sound engineers extensive tactile software control of plug-in parameters, full show file import from legacy Avid VENUE systems, vastly simplified setup, system redundancy, and greater flexibility.
