Rushes post Turin Brakes promo

Rushes have completed post on a new promo for UK band Turin Brakes.
The promo opens in daylight with Ollie and Gale of Turin Brakes playing their guitars in a sparse concrete street. As they play people around them levitate, this is a manifestation of their happiness. When they become sad they sink to the ground again.
Rushes Duncan Malcolm said: "The promo was shot in one day on the streets of LA. Because of time restrictions on the shoot and Director David Slade's wish to keep the camera moving, complete clean backgrounds had to be rebuilt in inferno, in order to remove the wires and rigs involved in the flying shots. Green screen compositing was also used, although David doesn't often shoot green screen, as he prefers the natural lighting involved in rig work, however time was against him and it had to be used.
"We used infernos colour warping node and the modular keyer to match the lighting on the background, adding extra camera shake to sit the composites together. The day to night, night to day transitions were graded twice and cut together in the offline. Additional sky passes were added, star fields created and tracked on. As a final touch, additional street lights and highlights were added to the night time passes."
