Summer Slowdown? Not For Us!

News Image
Summer is traditionally a quieter season for recruiters; candidate applications frequently dip and the placement process can be delayed as the logistics of arranging multiple interviews is often trickier in the holiday season, with candidate and hiring manager diaries to coordinate.

Christy Media Solutions is pleased to be experiencing an exception to that general rule this year; with a very busy Q1 and Q2 under our belts, our Jobs Board continues to feature a wide range of interesting permanent and contract vacancies within broadcast and media, which changes daily as we place candidates in roles. With this positive situation likely to continue, we moved offices in June and are continuing to expand our recruitment team to maintain the excellent service we deliver to clients and candidates.

The company has also recently promoted two senior members of our delivery team: Emily Randall has been promoted to Principal Consultant, after eight years of service with the company. Emily specialises in Broadcast Engineering and Development recruitment, and has been Head of this division since 2016. She will continue to lead and further develop this department, in addition to taking on other internal responsibilities across all our recruitment divisions.

Natasha Booluck has also been promoted to Principal Consultant, having successfully recruited across all our divisions during the last eight years. Although Tasha has a broad range of recruitment experience and has previously led our Broadcast Operations & Production division, she is particularly interested in the creative side of broadcast and will now be heading up our Creative recruitment division, as well as driving forward our planned international growth.

Both Emily and Tasha will be attending IBC in September if you would like to stop by our stand and say hello (C29 in Hall 6). Christy Media Solutions is a regular exhibitor at IBC and the show is an important event in the company's calendar, as it is a great opportunity to meet and network with clients and candidates.

You can find our stand in its usual place in Hall 6 and we hope you will visit for a drink and a chat with our friendly consultants. Other team members attending IBC this year include Principal Consultants Christian Magill, Mark Burke and Deborah Cross, and Senior Consultant, Craig Oliver. If you would like to pre-book a meeting at IBC with a member of our team, please visit our website www.christy-media.com.
