JVC PROFESSIONAL RESTRUCTURE

AS part of a planned new year restructuring, JVC Professional Products have made some changes to their key management team to enable them to maximise new business opportunities in 2002 and beyond.
Deputy Managing Director Hajime Yamasaki, who is managing the day-to-day operations of JVC Professional in the UK, summed up these changes with: "This new organisational structure emphasises JVC¹s ability to keep pace with the demands of an ever-changing market. We are lucky to have a strong management group who are more than capable of optimising the new opportunities that will arise for the company."
JVC¹s market is expanding rapidly into electronic production, digital storage, a wider range of display and projection devices, and networked communications technologies. To accommodate this expansion, while retaining a focus on core products like cameras, it has become necessary for the company to change their sales and customer care emphasis in the territories that they serve, as well as providing stronger support and influence to JVC¹s general European activities.
The new board, structured to meet these goals, is: Managing director - Kunihiro Sato; Deputy managing director - Hajime Yamasaki; Senior director, sales and marketing - Yash Patel; Financial director - Brian Jackson; Marketing services director - John Carpenter; Project development director - Ian Nicoll.
At the same time, the following management positions have been confirmed: General manager broadcast, professional and systems sales - Derek Morgan; General manager service - Mike Turner; Deputy general manager; IT sales - Dr. Greg Gregoriou; Manager projection and presentation sales - Bob Harris; Export systems manager - Tim Rawlings.

Confirming these changes, Hajime Yamasaki said: "Now the whole company can look forward to new business opportunities and to strengthening relationships with new and established customers. I am sure that together we can all look forward to successful times ahead."
