Movietech Introduce New Accessory Rig
Movietech has announced the addition of a new RED EPIC DRAGON 6K accessory rig to their rental stock.
Created by the company's in-house engineering team, the rig is custom-built and is designed around an EPIC DRAGON 6K camera body. This has been modified to incorporate upgrades that enable total compatibility with a variety of EPIC accessories and attachments.
Lightweight yet sturdy, the anodised aluminium outer cage provides balanced housing for the camera body and features a host of ergonomic, accessible mounting points, and multiple input/output options for connectivity. Other features include the addition of a Terradek wireless transmitter and Preston motor driver, an internal filter holder – complete with full spectrum internal IR and ND filters – upgraded viewfinder support, modified quick release handle and a various input/outputs including 4 x SDI, 2 x 24V, 2 x 12V plus 5 x D-tap outs for convenient battery connection.
John Buckley, Managing Director, Movietech, said: "Our design team have worked wonders on this new accessory rig. The aim is to offer Cinematographers a feature packed housing that has everything on board; this unit delivers on all fronts – easy to adapt, simple to use and totally compatible with a huge range of accessories."
