KPN CHOOSE NET INSIGHT

DUTCH network operator KPN have chosen Net Insight, a leading provider of real-time broadband infrastructure technology, as supplier of media network solutions.
Under a framework agreement, KPN places an order for immediate delivery of equipment to the first stage of a national optical media network build-out.
Dolf Schinkel, Manager Architecture and Projects, KPN Broadcast, said: “This is an important step in KPN’s transition towards next generation optical networks and services. Net Insight’s platform on top of our DWDM network truly gives us an edge on the market for premium services.”
Under the framework agreement KPN has the option to call for further quick deliveries of network equipment as the media network build-out continues.
