JVC Introduce The GY-HM200ESB

Introducing the GY-HM200ESB – an innovative, affordable live streaming camera, featuring a graphics overlay capable of supporting sports scoring and broadcast information.

The camera delivers professional quality images and is ideal for single operator one-camera use, for streaming live sports events, news or concerts.
Based on the successful 4K-capable GY-HM200E compact camcorder, the GY-HM200ESB supports the unique ability to generate broadcast-quality graphics inside the camera, with no additional hardware required.

When used in "Broadcast" mode, the GY-HM200ESB supports a lower third type graphics overlay, with up to five editable text fields, which is selectable during real-time live operation. Four different style patterns are available, as is a watermark, and time display.

When used in "Sports" mode, the GY-HM200ESB has a multiple templates for different sports including soccer (forthcoming), basketball, baseball and a number of generic templates which support a range of different sports.

Whether in sports or broadcast mode, update of information is easily achieved via a connected smartphone, tablet or computer, simply via a web browser interface – no special software application is required. This enables a single operator to easily update content without need for any dedicated hardware. The graphics overlay is available on any of the SDI and HDMI video outputs, and the live stream directly from the camcorder. The overlay can also be recorded to the SD card media if required.

Content can be streamed from the GY-HM200ESB via a variety of IP interfaces including 3G / 4G mobile data networks, wi-fi networks and hard-wired LAN. In addition to the unique overlay features of the GY-HM200ESB, the camcorder offers a comprehensive range of professional features including XLR audio, 4K and HD recording, with up to 120 frames per second recording when in HD mode. Also available as part of the IP feature set is FTP file transfers and full remote control of the camera functions over IP.

The new GY-HM200ESB line-up adds to JVC Professional's range of production solutions, including ENG and cine-style camcorders, studio cameras and recording devices. Also introduced at IBC 2016 was JVC Professional's new content hosting and management platform, JVCVIDEOCLOUD, an online video and live streaming platform. Ideal for small businesses and creative individuals, it offers a simple, powerful content management system for live video or VoD, skinnable players, website builder tools and rich performance analysis tools. JVC VIDEOCLOUD enables you to stream live from JVC's range of streaming camcorders, along with encoders from other manufacturers, and it is also possible to stream directly from the Streamstar range of multi-camera production tools.

JVCVIDEOCLOUD is a perfect complement to the GY-HM200ESB, whereby content producers can generate, manage and distribute content within a single environment, whilst retaining full rights for the material when hosted.
