Canon Announces BSC Expo Range

Canon UK is to demonstrate its new 4K camera, the EOS C700, at BSC Expo and BVE 2017 next month.

Launched in September 2016, the the EOS C700 has been designed and built for use in any shooting environment by either cinema DoPs or high-end broadcast producers.

At both events, Canon will highlight the camera's flexibility with a range of dedicated accessories it has designed to allow users to build out a customisable shooting rig. These include full HD OLED viewfinder system with a wide colour gamut, a remote operational unit, a shoulder support and grip unit as well as a specifically-designed Codex external RAW recorder that lets users capture 4K RAW in up to 100P/120P.

In addition to the EOS C700, Canon will exhibit a range of broadcast and CINE lenses including the new CN-E18-80mm T4.4 L IS KAS S.

The new 24” and 17” 4K HDR monitors (DP-V1710 and DP-V2420) will also be on show. The models combine Canon's image processing engine with a proprietary backlight system and an IPS LCD panel.

Canon will be on stand 614 at BSC Expo, Battersea Evolution, 3 – 4 February; and on stand H50 at BVE 2017, ExCel London, 28 February – 2 March.
