"RTS Scotland is delighted to launch the Young Journalist of the Year award in memory of George McFarlane Sinclair. George was an inspirational journalist and his legacy to Scottish broadcast journalism is significant and considerable. This award honours his memory and the generosity of the £1,000 prize should help an emerging young talent today."
The closing date for entries is Monday 13 February, 2017. All entries must have been aired on TV, distributed for non-broadcast or streamed online for the first time between January and December 2016. The Awards will be presented at the Oran Mor, Glasgow on 17 May, 2017.
