CANON IFPRO NARROWS THE GAP IN LENS TECHNOLOGY

A NEW development in camera technology has narrowed the gap between IFpro and broadcast lenses.
With the introduction of the YH19x6.7 and YJ19x9B lenses for 1/2” and 2/3” CCD cameras, zoom speed has been improved and the margin for error in miss-shooting has been reduced.
The two groundbreaking features have been added to ensure zoom and shuttle shot efficiency, giving IFpro lenses optimal ease of operation.
With a zoom speed of 1.7 seconds, the updated product is now 0.8 second faster than the 18X IFpro and other professional lenses. This massive leap in design makes it easier to capture shots at just the right moment.
With shuttle shot, the cameraman can quickly focus between two programmed positions; and, combined with the faster zoom speed, this facility can be used to take full advantage split second shot opporunities. Ease of operation is an additional benefit since the cameraman can zoom back and forth at the touch of a single button.
The lens itself has been reduced in size and is now the most is the most compact in its class, offering better balance at the moment of truth.
The dip switch has also been relocated to allow for shuttle shot operational from multiple-button locations, and the grip design has been improved to increase efficiency still further. (GMcG)
