ARRI Adds To SkyPanel Range
ARRI has added to its SkyPanel LED soft light range.
The new S120-C is the largest product of the family, and joins the S60 and S30 ranges. The S120 is twice as long as the S60, but weighs almost the same. It also maintains the same features and colour tuneability as its smaller counterparts. Consuming less than 400 watts, the S120 is slightly brighter than the S60-C and has an efficacy of 90 lumens per watt.
In addition, with an aperture of 1290mm x 300mm (50.8" x 11.8"), the S120 outputs a soft, even beam of light that has a range of uses. It also works as an overhead light for large areas as the increased dimensions mean fewer lights and less cables are required.
Released alongside the S120 are accessories for sculpting and controlling the light. These include honeycombs, eggcrates, barndoors, diffusion panels, the SkyBender and a new fabric barndoor called the FlexDoor.
