'A League Of Their Own: US Road Trip' is to return for a second series, it has been announced. The show will return to Sky 1.

The series will see James Corden return as he invites his friends Jack Whitehall, Jamie Redknapp and Freddie Flintoff to America to get back on the road for another adventure. He will take the lads across the US, setting them challenges in various locations including New York, Miami and Los Angeles.

In addition, Sky has also ordered a further three series of the panel show 'A League Of Their Own' from CPL. An 11th series of the show will air on Sky 1 this Autumn, with Corden continuing with hosting duties, alongside regular team captains Redknapp and Flintoff and permanent panellist Whitehall.

Adam MacDonald, Director of Sky 1, said: "A League of Their Own is totally on fire at the moment and James, Freddie, Jamie and Jack are on such brilliant form. Ratings and critical response for the studio shows have never been better and the awesome Road Trip specials have broken all records. I can't wait to see what James puts the guys through in the second Road Trip outing and I'm so so pleased to have secured another three years of the genre defining studio show for our Sky customers."

Murray Boland, Executive Producer from CPL Productions, added: "We can't wait to get back on the road with A League of Their Own: US Road Trip, the most successful series of ALOTO ever. It's also great to be returning with a further three series of A League of Their Own, which just keeps getting bigger and better."

A League of Their Own and A League of Their Own: US Road Trip are produced by CPL Productions for Sky 1 HD. David Taylor is series producer, with Murray Boland and Danielle Lux as executive producers for CPL Productions and Barbara Lee for Sky. The format of A League of Their Own is distributed by Red Arrow International.
