ITV Announces Partnership Deal With AwesomenessTV

ITV has announced a new partnership deal with AwesomenessTV.

The contract will see ITV2 and the ITV Hub acquire exclusive UK premiere rights to AwesomenessTV's long-form series as well as co-producing youth-focused content for both the UK and global markets.

ITV has acquired 75 hours of the youth brand's shows for both ITV2 and the ITV Hub, which will increase to 100 hours in 2018. The Hub will also have the exclusive online UK premiere of a number of AwesomenessTV shows

In addition, an extended weekend programme will also be created by ITV for ITV2, beginning in early 2017.

Both companies will join together to co-produce scripted and unscripted programmes for ITV2, with ITV Global Entertainment licensing the shows to international markets.
