APT’s WorldNet Tokyo makes Broadway debut

Headroom Digital, a full service audio facility with a blue-chip client list, have recently invested in a WorldNet Tokyo codec from Belfast-based data compression specialists APT (Audio Processing Technology).
Currently based on Broadway, the company are ideally located for voice-over projects as they have easy access to the many actors working around Time Square. Composer/Producer/Engineer Jerry Plotkin, who founded Headroom Digital 10 years ago, said: “Many of our projects involve clients in other cities, thus creating the need for transparent ISDN. The WorldNet Tokyo is ideal for fast turnaround work and we were one of the first studios to purchase it because it is so versatile. We love the fact that we can interface with studios all over the world, and interface flawlessly, regardless what type of codec is utilized at the other end.”
Headroom digital provides clients with just about anything audio. Composing, sound design, audio post, radio production, ISDN, stock music, SFX, feature film mixes, are all part of its repertoire. Clients include Pepsi, Crest, Johnson & Johnson, Reebok, ESPN, Sara Lee, Sprint, Levi’s, and Coca-Cola.
