IBC2016 Conference Adds Keynote Speaker
Shahrzad Rafati has been confirmed to deliver a keynote at the IBC2016 Conference.
Rafati is the Founder and CEO of BroadbandTV. Over the past 11 years, Vancouver-based BroadbandTV has become a force in online video and represents 16.2bn monthly impressions with more than 76,000 online video creators, providing a full suite of services and solutions including content distribution, technology, promotion, production, creative and design services, and monetisation opportunities.
BBTV also offers rights management services for organisations including the NBA, Viacom, Sony Pictures and FremantleMedia.
On Saturday 10 September, Shahrzad will discuss how BBTV is working across platforms and creating partnerships (such as the one with AOL's Huffington Post) to create a new kind of online video journalism network called Outspeak and NBA Playmakers, a community for video creators focused on basketball and basketball culture, in partnership with the NBA. She will also talk about how the younger YouTube generation interacts with technology and content and what this means for traditional broadcasting.
