Dominique Delport To Deliver Keynote At IBC2016

Dominique Delport will deliver a Keynote at this year's IBC2016 Conference, it has been announced.

Mr Delport is Global Managing Director of Havas Media Group and Chairman of Vivendi Content. With his role at Havas, Delport oversees all brands, clients and commercial activities as well as all research and intelligence for the advertising and marketing group's 126 markets.

In addition to his role at Havas, Dominique is also president of Vivendi Content – the unit of the multi-billion French multinational media company that is responsible for discovering talents as well as creating and investing in new forms of video and music content for the different brands of the Vivendi group (Canal+, Universal Music Group, Dailymotion, Gameloft).

In his Keynote, Delport will share his views of how the media landscape has changed and what this means for traditional media companies, including his opinions on the power of the big digital platforms collectively known as GAFA – Google, Apple, Facebook and Amazon – and how important it is for Europeans to continue to develop local content that speaks to their cultures.

Entitled 'Transformation in the Digital Era: Leadership, strategy and creativity in media and entertainment', the conference will see more than 300 executives share insights on key issues at the heart of the entertainment, media and technology sector.
