Omneon launch new suite of media tools

Omneon Video Networks have announced a new suite of Media Tools designed to provide unique functionality for controlling an Omneon Spectrum media server system and for managing media elements within an Omneon-based environment.
The Playtool, Recordtool, and Transfertool enhance system operations by simplifying control over media playout, ingest, and management functions with easy-to-use graphical interfaces. These three new Media Tools are available as part of a new Mediacontrol Suite, giving customers a full complement of control utilities for their Omneon system installations.
