SGL To Unveil FlashNet Infinity At NAB
SGL has confirmed it will launch FlashNet Infinity at NAB 2016, booth SL5306.
FlashNet Infinity provides broadcasters and content owners with a dashboard that simplifies archive procedures, and is expected to be rolled out incrementally over the next 12 months. It delivers a toolset for archive and restore functionality, system health, monitoring, analysis and more. It is available as a free upgrade to all SGL FlashNet users covered by a current support contract.
The FlashNet Infinity dashboard provides pre-defined widgets to search, monitor and analyse archived and restored content and system health as well as admin tools to define user accessibility. Dashboard tools can be configured according to station or operator preference, providing a tailored overview of archive activity within the facility relevant to the user.
The dashboard is simple to navigate with data analysis and reports, while detailed health checks provide key benefits. Users can check throughput relating to the number of current or completed jobs defined by asset, department or system for any time period. These trend analyses can be used for projecting future capacity and throughput requirements.
FlashNet Infinity provides small broadcasters that don't have a MAM system with basic management tools that allow them to see what is in the archive or stored on a certain disc so that they can archive material on the disc, or restore material in the archive, viewing a low res copy on the FlashNet Infinity dashboard.
Lee Sheppard, Director of Product Management, SGL, said: "We're really excited to launch FlashNet Infinity at NAB 2016. The dashboard provides the next-generation of archive management with sophisticated tools that very quickly and easily give detailed analysis of the heart of the facility as well as monitoring, reports and much more. We look forward to making further FlashNet Infinity announcements over the coming months."
SGL will demonstrate FlashNet Infinity at NAB 2016, booth SL5306.
