Camera, lens and grip specialists Movietech have extended their range of professional image capture equipment by taking delivery of a pair of new Red Weapons.

Built by the award winning team at Red, the Weapon provides a versatile, feature rich 6K shooting solution that delivers incredible clarity and ultra fast workflow rates from a lightweight, compact unit. Building on the success of it's predecessors, the new model features data transfer rates of up to 300 MB/s, intelligent optical low-pass filter (OLPF), in-camera 1D and 3D-LUT outputs, wireless connectivity and the ability to simultaneously record in REDCODE RAW and Apple ProRes file formats.

Flexible and adaptable, the intuitive, modular system can be configured to suit almost any rig or any production type. 8K ready and compatible with an extensive range of accessories, such as PL mounts for simple access to an impressive selection of lensing options and a variety of recording media offering robust reliable data storage, the Red Weapon is easily one of the most accomplished shooting solutions currently available.
