Video Europe Signs Flypack Deal

Video Europe has signed a deal to supply a 10-camera flypack system to Digicel Sportsmax. The contract is for a period of two years, and will see Video Europe provide more than £2.5m worth of equipment.

The flypack will be used to cover Jamaican football, athletics, cricket and other major events around the region.

The Digicel Sportsmax flypack system is based on 10 x Sony HDC-2500 camera channels, Gigawave RF camera systems and Grass Valley Karrera vision switching, all integrated using Miranda Hybrid Routing and glue. The communications is achieved by using the latest RTS ADAM IP OMNEO system. The facility can be set up in a Digicel Sportsmax custom built 40ft vehicle for use in Jamaica or flight cased for use around the Caribbean.
