Miranda introduce IP scope waveform and vector probe

At IBC 2003 Miranda introduced the new IP Scope waveform and vectorscope features for its Densité Control Probe range of confidence monitoring and signal measurement over IP network systems.
The Densité Control Probes are typically placed at key monitoring points within a broadcast facility, and by providing real-time streaming of video and audio signal data, they allow precise analysis of signals to be performed from practically anywhere and at low cost.
The Control Probe modules for the Densité 2RU frame (holds 20 modules) provide DA functionality but also perform non-intrusive, remote monitoring and signal analysis, with measurement of digital/analogue video and audio formats. The Probes provide networked confidence monitoring using low bit-rate video and audio streaming over standard IP networks.
The new IP Scope options for the digital and analogue video Control Probes provide similar functionality to a conventional scope but they allow operators and maintenance personnel to perform remote analysis of the video they are monitoring. The waveform monitor and vectorscope can be displayed on a standard PC using Miranda’s Streaming Player, which is provided with Miranda’s iControl remote control and monitoring system.
The Control Probes provide multiple signal measurement and analysis capabilities including freeze and black detect, VBI signal analysis, and ancillary signal analysis.
The confidence monitoring streaming video can be overlaid with Closed Captioning, timecode, and V-Chip information.
