Camera Corps At The Forefront Of Innovation In Sports Broadcasting

News Image
Sport is often viewed as the most influential genre when it comes to advancing broadcast technology.

According to Barry Parker, Commercial Manager at Camera Corps, this is particularly true of innovations in cameras that respond to audience demands for immersive viewing.

Parker says: "We understand that our clients require flexibility and the ability to mix and match technology on site for best results. The Camera Corps control system allows for multiple cameras to link to one control system with one operator."

In the past few months, Camera Corps has provided specialist cameras to many sporting events; a suite of aquatic cameras were provided to the European Games 2015 in Baku and the World University Games 2015 in Korea, for example.

Likewise, on-board and effects cameras were provided for Isle of Mann TT 2015, while remote heads and cameras were contributed to Wimbledon 2015.

Additionally, Camera Corps will be providing new Stump cams to the Ashes Series 2015 and the new low-level Q3 tracking camera system to the Rugby World Cup in Twickenham. Camera Corps is also working with the NHL to develop a referee helmet cam.

With the recently launched Q3 MiniZoom and upgraded MeerCat mini right-angled camera, Camera Corps continues to demonstrate their commitment to providing clients with the lowest risk, highest quality, and most cost-effective solution for their needs.

Camera Corps will have their products on display at IBC / booth 11.E5.
