IABM Announce Shortlist For Design & Innovation Awards

IABM has confirmed the shortlist of nominees for its 2015 Design & Innovation Awards.

The accolades recognise products that offer significant solutions or new opportunities to the broadcast and media industry.

The shortlisted candidates have been designated by the nine IABM Design & Innovation Awards categories, reflecting the breadth of the broadcast industry pipeline, from acquisition of content to playout and delivery.

The 2015 award submissions include hardware, software, system and service solutions, and innovative technology based service offerings. All applications are being measured on the basis of the perceived impact to the industry in terms of end user benefit, value for money, innovation, implementation, performance or new opportunities created.

John Ive, IABM Director of Technology and Strategic Insight, said: "The standard and quality of entrants is going to make the final judging process extremely challenging. The category finalists will be judged by a panel of independent specialists, chaired by Mr Ive. The winners will be announced at the IABM reception and awards ceremony, which takes place at IBC in Amsterdam on Saturday 12 September.
