BDL-Autoscript unveil latest updates at IBC

At IBC 2003 BDL-Autoscript is showing the latest version of +WinPlus+ prompting software with many new features and newsroom interfaces, including the successful implementation of the MOS protocol.
+WinPlus+ operates as a standalone system or can be networked to any major automated newsroom system including ENPS, NewStar, Dalet/A.N.N Open Media, iNews, AP Newscentre and many others.
BDL-Autoscript’s unique use of the MOS protocol will see the development of a new generation of prompter, fully integrated into the electronic newsroom and even capable of controlling the system. Prompter text can be output as data for subtitles or closed captioning.
The new PCI PromptCard has full NTSC or PAL colour capability. The XBox USB provides the same facilities in an external mains/battery powered enclosure for use with a laptop, interfacing through the USB port. +WinPlus+ can be controlled by an unlimited number of local or remote desk or foot speed controls.
New on display is redesigned 6.4-inch and 8.4-inch TFT prompters and a lightweight 20-inch TFT. The 6.4-inch and 8-inch TFTs, with wide-angle hoods, are ideal for mini-jib, Steadicam and ultra lightweight portable use. The 20-inch TFT gives a reading range of up to 12 metres.
BDL Autoscript is also displaying its range of colour-capable TFT flat panel on-camera prompters, in seven sizes ranging from 6 to 20-inches. All panels are specifically designed to provide bright and clear displays as well as being light in weight.
For conferences and award ceremonies BDL is showing its range of automated, programmable rise and fall glass stands.
