Nevion To Feature At IBC 2015

Nevion is to demonstrate how broadcasters can make the switch from traditional baseband to in-studio IP broadcasting at IBC 2015, stand 1.B71.

Broadcasters can use Nevion's switches and gateways to create a standards-based software defined media network (SDN), with Nevion's VideoIPath providing the deterministic control.

The company will also demonstrate the latest developments in IP-based contribution and primary distribution, including real-time 4K transport.

Other products featuring at the show include Nevion's NX4600 Media Gateway compression platform, offering high-quality H.264/MPEG-4 AVC encoding and decoding, providing a trade-off between bandwidth usage and low latency, resulting in high video quality.

The latest update to the Sublime X2 compact hybrid video/audio router will also be available. The router provides the high redundancy and processing power required of modern routers in a compact enclosure.

New additions to the award-winning Flashlink product range will also be unveiled. Flashlink is designed for broadcasters looking to manage the entire live media process, as it encompasses all live signal production, regardless of signal origin, when synchronicity, low latency, high reliability and operational ease are all top priorities.

The new additions to the family upgrade include the ability for an even higher density of signals to be transported and processed than previously possible.
