DELEC Delivers Dante™ Audio Networking Interfaces
German intercom and commentary system specialist DELEC has introduced unito a set of task-specific, powerful tools that will integrate conventional audio devices into Dante™ networks.
Dante™ is a combination of software, hardware, and network protocols that deliver uncompressed, multi-channel, low-latency digital audio over a standard Ethernet network.
The DELEC unito series consists of the ultra-compact DIO (Dante™ Input Output) that offers a variety of interface and conversion options while space saving NIO offers straight conversion of Dante to analogue and digital AES3 inputs and outputs. The three NIO units offer between 8 and 16 AES and 12 or 24 analogue inputs and outputs and use RJ45 for high density, easy to use connections. The two larger NIO units also include redundant power supplies.
The unito NAM Dante™ networked speaker amplifiers are ideal for building paging and public address systems, providing modern day replacements for traditional 100V PA systems by using network connections and switches.
DELEC unito devices are easy to configure via a web browser and configurations may be stored, imported and exported reducing setup time for large installations.
All the unito products include two Ethernet ports to allow redundant network infrastructure or daisy-chain wiring to reduce the cost of installation while their compact design makes them equally economical with space.
DELEC oratis intercom, oratis commentary systems, oratis compact intercom and unito ranges are available in the UK from its distributor Aspen Media.
