NOA Audio Announces Name Change Ahead Of NAB

Following NOA Audio Solutions' expansion into video, as well as audio archiving, the company has announced it will now be known as 'NOA'.

"Since we have been for some time now an archive solutions provider for both audio and video assets, the old name was misleading, and we’ve changed it to reflect our broader archival offering, which includes the solutions optimised for all kinds of media, and our mission: Creating Archive Innovations," said Christophe Kummer, NOA’s CEO. "The name NOA is a tribute to the idea of preserving two of a kind for posterity, and continuing that theme, mediARC is the safest vehicle for audio and video media assets no matter how high the water rises!"

mediARC is NOA’s open framework for collaborative media archive management, facilitated by NOA’s modular solutions for mass ingest and workflow management: ingestLINE, actLINE and jobDB.

NOA’s presence at NAB 2015 on booth SU 13511 will feature ingest systems NOA Record, CD Lector, MediaLector and FrameLector, which provide means of migrating large volumes of material from legacy media such as ¼” analog carriers, CD Audio, Audio DAT or SD Material from Betacam / Betacam SP / IMX or U-Matic.
