CPC acquire CCaption Mac software line
CPC have acquired the acclaimed CCaption Mac-based closed captioning software line from Leapfrog Productions.
CPC, the leading PC-based captioning software developer, is now the only company that offers both Mac and Windows-based closed captioning software solutions.
The acquisition includes CCaption-DV, CCaption-NLE, CCaptionPro-DV and CCaptionPro-MPEG captioning software, along with exciting patent-pending caption encoding technology.
CCaptionPro-DV & CCaptionPro-MPEG are the world’s only complete closed caption preparation & encoder software. They include all the functions of CCaption-DV and CCaption-NLE. Users can import caption text, position captions, and synchronize captions with dialogue using time code. There is no need to depend on another captioning software to create time stamped scripts. Users can also directly insert closed captions into MPEG-2 video.
These are the only software products that let you do the entire captioning process, from text entry to encoding, using only software. The software is built for Macintosh OS X.
