Encoda announce IBC innovations

Encoda Systems have revealed details of several new systems to be showcased at IBC 2003 Booth 8.271.
The new integrated solution of Arkemedia's Digital Asset Management and Encoda's Automation Solution provides a seamless content workflow from ingest, through management, repurposing and packaging, editing and exporting, to transmission via automation playout.
The new DAL D-Series delivers sophisticated automation operations specifically designed as a scalable, cost-effective multi-channel broadcast solution. It provides true frame-accurate switching for events across all channels, and when configured for dual redundancy, extremely high levels of availability and reliability. Hundreds of device interfaces are available today.
A new workflow module for Encoda's integrated channel management system Broadcast Master is being demonstrated at the show. It permits business area workflow management on a personal level.
The new Unicode functionality of Encoda's programme management solution Vision will also be shown. The new version of Vision allows operators to localise the user interface of Vision will allow programme schedulers to view and enter data in their own language.
