Geraghty resigns from SPI
Tracy Geraghty, the Director of Screen Producers' Ireland, has resigned from the organisation.
The decision was reached mutually by Geraghty and the board of directors of SPI. She will continue to work in the industry, but in a different sector.
Geraghty joined SPI in January 2003, and oversaw the re-branding of the organisation, previously Film Makers Ireland, and the research and publication of the SPI report 'Realising the Potential of the Irish Film and Television Industry - A Unique National Asset', also known as the Sheridan Report, on June 30.
The Board of SPI are meeting soon to discuss the structure of the organisation, and the appointment of a new director will be on the Agenda.
