Scruffy Dog Undergoes Studio Upgrade

Birmingham, UK-based Scruffy Dog Productions Ltd have undergone a new studio and workshop expansion throughout September, as part of an upgrade of the studio's workspace and equipment.

The workshop has seen the addition of a second 7 axis CNC robot, taking on smaller models with more intricate detail. The woodworking areas have over doubled in size, allowing the company's carpenters to take projects through a cutting, assembling and finishing processes before handing over to scenic artists.
An increase in demand for sculptural pieces led the company to build a brand new sculpture studio, situated next to a fully equipped mould and fibreglass area.

"More manufacture means more design, and we have invested heavily in our Studio team and equipment with additional designers and 3D Artists, also upgrading our graphical tablets and 3D printers," a statement said.
"This expansion has opened up new opportunities within our freelance team, and we are seeking skilled and dedicated Scenic Artists, Sculptors and Mould Makers to work on a range of creative projects over the next 12 months."
