Polar Graphics Prepares For IBC2014

Polar Graphics will be representing the latest in storage products and signal processing at this year's IBC show.

Bluefish444 (Stand 7.J07) having recently announced support for Avid Media Composer v8, the company will show their Fluid Ingestore which makes ingest faster and easier.
Utilising only an SDI video cable INGESTORE enables workstations to capture uncompressed and AVID compatible DNxHD media with minimum operator intervention. Using the embedded time-code data in SDI INGESTORE can automatically trigger the start and stop of captures at pre-defined segments, or by using Auto- Record mode generate new media files for each new take based on time-code interruptions. Fluid INGESTORE harnesses the power of all Bluefish444 video cards. For example, Epoch |4K Supernova and its 4 HD/SD SDI connections will enable systems to simultaneously capture four streams in real time.

Getting data ingested quickly is step one, then you may need to store and share it across multiple edit suites each running different software. Facilis Terrablock (Stand 7.E08) offers the most cost effective shared storage with the best performance.
