Editec Buys I-MOVIX Camera System

News Image
Editec Ltd have just taken delivery of the latest X10 UHD 4K high speed camera system from I-MOVIX in Belgium.

The purchase continues the long term relationship between Editec and I-MOVIX and further demonstrates a continued determination to offer clients the very latest technology in the field of ultra slow-motion.
This hi tech new product offers Editec customers a Ultra Slow Motion capability at 4K - up to 1000fps using the easy-to-use I-MOVIX control panel or with an XT3 server direct streaming at 100fps.
"We are very excited to have this product in our fleet of cameras," said Steve Cotterill, managing director of Editec. "One major consideration was the ability of this 4K camera to provide an enhanced performance at 1080 i/p. We have no 4K projects scheduled yet, but this camera from day one offered our high-end customers truly amazing performance at HD resolutions making it a good investment, offering at 1080i/p Ultra Slow Motion (USM) up to 2000 fps or Super Slow Motion (SSM) at x4 / x6 / x10 using the industry standard XT3 server."
The latest purchase enables Editec to offer its clients the entire range of I-MOVIX products.
Steve Cotterill will be present on the I-MOVIX stand 11 E43 at IBC 2014 at the RAI in Amsterdam, September 12-16.
