AIP Makes First Foray Into Broadcast Production

Cheltenham based production company Action Image Productions (AIP) have made their first foray into broadcast production with a one hour documentary entitled Still Heroes…the battle to build the RAF Bomber Command Memorial.

AIP is a full service production facility and was formed in 1997 by Lee Stephens and boasts a lengthy and very high quality client list that include such luminaries as Kodak, Jaguar, BMW, The Times, Sony Ericsson and a host of many well-known consumer brands.
The self-funded one hour documentary written and presented by ex-BBC man Eric Barton follows the difficult road encountered by many in creating and building the Bomber Command Memorial now situated in London's Green Park. It's a real life story of heartache and final victory. The programme will also include one of the last TV appearances by the late Bee Gee, Robin Gibb.
The programme has been beautifully shot by both Director Lee Stephens and DOP Mark Pullen which reinforces both the passion put into making the production and the emotional toll on everyone involved in the memorial journey and its final unveiling.
Lee Stephens said: "Moving some of our resource and talent into broadcast is something that I've always been planning and this seemed to be the perfect programme to do just that."
