China Digital Video Selects Matrox DSX LE2

Matrox Video has announced that video equipment manufacturer China Digital Video (Beijing) Limited (CDV) has chosen the Matrox DSX LE2 card, one of the Matrox DSX™ Developer Products, as the heart of its Himalaya A1500HD nonlinear editing system.

China Central Television (CCTV), China’s largest broadcaster, recently installed 80 of the Himalaya systems in its facilities to integrate video ingest, colour grading, audio/video effects, CG, Dolby audio editing and multi-format video editing.
"Matrox hardware and the powerful Matrox software development tools provide a very solid foundation for the Himalaya editing system, CDV’s flagship product," said He Yufei, CDV vice president. "Customers like CCTV get the stable input and output, high quality video and audio processing, and professional effects they need in demanding broadcasting environments."

Matrox products will be demonstrated at upcoming tradeshows including CCBN (China International Exhibition Center, Beijing, March 20 – 22 in Matrox distributor Beijing Jinzhongheng Tech’s booth 5103) and the 2014 NAB Show (Las Vegas, April 7-10, booth SL5019).
China Digital Video Limited’s Himalaya A1500HD systems will be demonstrated at CCBN in booth 3302.
