XL Video helps launch latest Harry Potter book
Celebrating the launch of the latest Harry Potter book, ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’, live video production specialists, XL Video, recently rigged two 50-inch portrait plasma screens in the windows of the Bloomsbury Publishing House Headquarters in Soho Square, London.
The screens showed the cover picture of the new book, with a digitally accurate countdown clock underneath, which ran from 10:00 am on Friday June 20 counting down to midnight – the release moment of the much-anticipated work by JK Rowling.
At 9pm on Friday until 1 am on Saturday morning, a massive video projection of the book cover then kicked in – projected from a Barco R18 across the square - completely covering the frontage of the Bloomsbury building.
