Cinegy Air Installed At Glimt TV

Cinegy has announced its recent installation of Cinegy Air at Glimt TV in Sweden, enhancing Cinegy's reputation as the preferred choice of automation and playout solutions by Swedish broadcasters.
Glimt Television is a new regional TV station in Sweden that broadcast a range of high quality programs both in TV and on the internet.
The station is located in Karlstad, the regional capital for Wermland and commenced operation in January 2014 using Cinegy's award winning playout and automation software Cinegy Air.
"We are excited to be using the new and modern technology developed by Cinegy that will provide us very cost effective and flexible solutions for both file playout and live programs. Our aim is to produce quality TV with a local touch," said Magnus D Westlund, Managing Director, Glimt Television.
Cinegy's automation and broadcast solution: Cinegy Air PRO provides a software-based system for SD and/or HD playout automation using standard PC server hardware. Cinegy Air PRO performs video playout by acting as a TCP/IP-connected video 'printer' offering its services in a network. The Cinegy Air PRO broadcast automation software connects to the playout service and instructs it what to 'print' to air and when.
Vericom AB, a Cinegy gold partner in Scandinavia, worked closely with Glimt Television throughout the entire installation process.
