OpTex appointed as OConnor distributor

Following the acquisition of OConnor Engineering by Sachtler, OpTex are now UK Authorised Distributor and Service Centre for all OConnor Fluid Heads and Tripods.
OConnor Engineering has been recognised as a world leader in fluid head and tripod design and manufacturing since Chad O'Connor pioneered the industry in 1949. In 1976 AMPAS awarded Chad and OConnor Engineering a Scientific and Technical Achievement Award for the design and concept of the fluid head, later upgraded to a full Oscar, (an award of merit,) for their contribution to the art of movie making.
OConnor's belief is that you should have every option available to you so your work is an example of your ability to create, and not fall short of that inspiration due to the limitations of your equipment. To achieve this, they are constantly improving their products by evaluating and implementing your comments.
