FileCatalyst And axle Video Team Up

Unlimi-Tech Software, a pioneer in managed file transfers and the creator of FileCatalyst, the world's leading accelerated file transfer solution, has announced a solutions partnering agreement with axle Video LLC, the company redefining media management.
axleVideo's browser-based media management works transparently to catalog and create media proxies in real time, making media management radically simple for creative teams worldwide including Post Group, a major Los Angeles post- production company; INSEAD, Europe's leading business school; the LA Dodgers baseball team; and Intuit, the leading developer of accounting software and online services.
In addition to simplifying media management, axle sought to offer faster end-to-end workflow and selected FileCatalyst as an integration partner to accelerate data transfer rates for axle users. FileCatalyst's UDP-based file transfer technology moves digital media at maximum rates without being slowed by network latency and packet transmission overhead experienced with TCP/IP. The FileCatalyst accelerated file transfer protocol offers exceptional speed gains versus traditional methods, allowing user transfer speeds that can be many times faster than FTP, and in some cases over 100x faster.

Configurations of the solution are priced as follows: $9,495 for axle Gear with a 5 Mbps license of FileCatalyst with the Express client and 5 concurrent connections; $11,995 for axle Gear with a 5Mbps license of FileCatalyst with the Express client and Java applet clients and FileCatalyst HotFolder automation and unlimited concurrent connections; $16,995 for axle Gear with a 30Mbps license of FileCatalyst with Express and Java applet clients and FileCatalyst HotFolder automation, and unlimited concurrent connections, and $26,995 for axle Gear with a 100Mbps license of FileCatalyst with Express and Java applet clients and FileCatalyst HotFolder automation, and unlimited concurrent connections.
