SSL announce major changes to Australian/New Zealand distribution

Solid State Logic have appointed RODE Microphones as their new distributor in the key territories of Australia and New Zealand.
The appointment, which comes into effect immediately, will see RODE Microphones handing sales and providing after sales support for Solid State Logic’s entire range of recording and broadcast consoles.
RODE Microphones sell into 37 countries world-wide have a wholesale division covering Australia and New Zealand. It is through this division that RODE distributes its microphones, as well as Event Studio Monitors from the US – and now Solid State Logic.
Commenting on RODE’s appointment, Stuart DeMarais, SSL’s Sales Director, said: “Having such a respected and technically competent organisation as RODE Microphones handling the brand greatly enhances our effectiveness in supporting SSL's large customer base in Australia and New Zealand. It will also enable us to keep our customers and the market in general more directly informed about SSL's product development, particularly the innovative new C Series production console technology which we will be showing for the first time at the SMPTE exhibition in Australia on July 1.”
