AG Video purchase high speed DVD-R towers

Hertfordshire-based AG Video, whose services include VHS video duplication, editing, and CD and DVD duplication have recently purchased twin banks of DVD-R recorders.
The company, which offers multi media services throughout the UK to independent video producers, purchased the two towers this month which are packed full of 14 DVD-R recorders. Both of the towers have a central controller which gives a detailed feedback display on whether the disks have errors before and after duplication.
AG Video have said undoubtedly the towers will provide their clients with a high speed DVD-R duplication service.
Arif Gardner of AG Video said: “Our clients simply give us a disk they have created, we put it in the top of the tower, load up the trays with blank DVD-R's and hey presto, fast file transfer at the same time to all trays. DVD-R duplication is faster than VHS.”

Mr Gardner added: “Finally, it’s available. The disks, which are being used, are the most compatible available and in the past month have received only a 4% reject rate. Now that is far better than I ever imagined.”
