Holdan take orders for ‘Intervalometer’

Holdan, a specialist distributor of video editing and post-production equipment, are due to introduce the Datavideo TL-1 Intervalometer at the end of February.
The ground breaking Intervalometer will enable creative single frame time-lapse camera shots previously unobtainable to videographers who didn’t have a Betacam deck that could perform single frame edits.
This powerful Intervalometer adds a new level of functionality to the DN-100 native DV hard drive recorder; enabling the effortless creation of time-lapse and single frame animation shots using any DV Camera or Analogue Camcorder (via the Datavideo DAC-2, analogue to digital converter).
The applications are endless Holdan have explained: “It can create traditional time-lapse shots such as sunsets, sunrises, flowers, construction sites, traffic flow etc, creatively animate the operation of machinery, maps and charts, storyboards, games, titles or anything else the assignment requires.”
The Intervalometer is simple to use; just set the number of frames to record (1-24), then set the time interval in seconds, minutes and hours (1fps to 1 frame per day). The TL-1 can also be externally triggered through a contact closure connection (GPI) and attached to a wide range of switches or sensors. The TL-1 and DN-100 work effortlessly with “MOCO” software without the traditional high cost and additional processing of film.
