Jünger Audio and JLCooper: Highlights Of NAB

Designer and manufacturer of digital audio dynamics and loudness management processors, Jünger Audio, enjoyed keen interest in its new products shown at NAB.
The C8491 module is a major development in Jünger’s modular C8000 system. Designed for extremely compact multi-stream systems, it provides all the processing necessary for efficient loudness management. C8491 is a 3G/HD/SD- SDI de-embedder/embedder with up to 16 channels of loudness management in a very small footprint – up to 4 SDI streams in a 1U frame and up to 16 streams in a 3U frame (64 and 256 mono audio channels respectively).
V*AP is a two channel voice processor built for radio stations and TV production voice-over studios. It includes HP/LP filtering, a dynamics section, full parametric EQ and de-essing. The V*AP’s voice leveller and voice over circuit help integrate voice programmes into loudness based broadcasting.
JLCooper, developers of professional control, automation and interfacing products, introduced the Nuage Panner, a surround panning controller designed to mount directly into the Yamaha/Steinberg Nuage console expansion chassis and the standalone Eclipse PX panner. Both panners have a custom software plug-in for Steinberg Nuendo and combine a three axis joystick with push-button rotaries, illuminated buttons and an LED display for indicating track number.
Also new, the MCS5 USB jog/shuttle controller for advanced control of Final Cut Pro X, Premiere Pro, Pro Tools, Nuendo and iMovie.
