ITC receive interest in ITV Digital licences

The ITC have confirmed that they have received a number of expressions of interest following the re-tendering of the three digital terrestrial multiplex licences formerly owned by ITV Digital.
The expressions of interest are confidential. To enable them to proceed to the tender stage the ITC will provide support and information to those who have expressed an interest.
The ITC will publish a list of applicants will be published as soon as it is practicable at the tender stage.
Those who have expressed interest have until noon on May 30 to send in full applications. The ITC will then assess the applications and expects to make an announcement on June 13.
The newly advertised licences will be more flexible than the previous licence. Applicants will be able to apply for any combination of the three licences on offer or propose any mixture of free-to-air or pay TV services and interactive or data services.
