Digigram Products Showcased At ISE 2013

At ISE 2013 the Digigram team will showcase audio and video over IP solutions, as well as the company's sound cards and network audio interfaces. Throughout the show, Digigram will demonstrate its IP video solutions based on AQORD and AQILIM encoders and decoders, which boast functionality targeting applications including OTT, local TV broadcasting, and point-to-point contribution.
PYKO-in and PYKO-out IP Audio Terminals
Enabling distribution of digital audio over a shared IP network, Digigram's PYKO-in and PYKO-out IP audio devices offer professional solutions for a wide range of audio applications including paging, public information systems, commercial background music, broadcasting, and webcasting.
PYKO IP-based network audio terminals enable the design of fully managed audio distribution solutions, and these compact, highly robust modules can be gathered and arranged in various combinations. Unlike other low-cost streaming devices, Digigram's PYKO has been designed to offer the high performance and versatility essential for professional A/V operations.
CANCUN: A High-End USB Sound Card for Professional Live Sound Applications
Built on a long tradition of uncompromising equipment, CANCUN is a high-performance sound card that embeds native USB Audio 2.0 processing in an ultra-robust yet stylish casing. This professional tool is ideal for any live sound application on a PC or Mac®.
During sound system setup, operators appreciate CANCUN's AES/EBU and analog interfaces, which stream up to 4+4 channels simultaneously, as well as the card's linearity and the settings control enabled by main audio measurement applications.
Sound engineers can quickly set up high-quality live record/play on a PC or Mac using CANCUN's LED-lighted touch panel and monitoring from a smart embedded headphone mixer.
When in stand-alone mode, CANCUN becomes both an ultra-portable high-quality 2/4-channel mic preamp and a professional analog-AES/EBU bridge.
AQORD and AQILIM IP Video Encoders, Decoders, and Transcoders
Digigram's AQORD and AQILIM encoders are being deployed across Europe to enable cost-effective delivery of high-quality video. At ISE 2013, Digigram will showcase the latest additions to these two product lines.
The IP streams from AQORD and AQILIM devices can be delivered to multiple destinations in UDP or RTP network protocols. In addition to supporting numerous network streaming methods such as multicast, unicast, or unicast multipoint, each AQORD and AQILIM device can provide concurrent streaming over the Internet for up to 30 different IP addresses.
In terms of configuration, AQORD and AQILIM devices provide easy system management through the local HMI front panel or remotely from any Web-enabled PC or XML API. Users can start, stop, and manage up to 100 profiles remotely through the Web interface, as well as monitor hardware status messages on chassis cooling temperatures, fan speeds, and alarms.
AQILIM Encoding/Transcoding Platform
Digigram will demonstrate the AQILIM *FIT and AQILIM *SERV/FIT, both of which are superlative all-IP solutions for IPTV, WebTV, and mobile operators. These devices offer software encoding, transcoding, and transrating capabilities, along with HDD storage, while preserving a compact form factor, power efficiency, and extremely high reliability.
AQILIM devices are based on a powerful software core that allows them to handle either SD (AQILIM *FIT) or HD/SD (AQILIM *SERV/FIT) operations. Extremely versatile, they support numerous custom streaming formats (e.g. Flash® RTMP, Apple® HLS for iPhone® and other Apple devices, and Windows Media®) and multiple resolutions for specific applications such as HD or SD video for IPTV and SQCIF for WebTV.
AQORD *LINK IP VIDEO Encoder/Decoder
AQORD *LINK is Digigram's encoder/decoder for high-quality IP video and broadcast. Its applications include content contribution (point-to-point) from a live event to the studio, from one studio to another, from studio to transmitter, or for delivery to a content distribution network (CDN). Designed for SD/HD live streaming, the AQORD *LINK simultaneously processes two video channels per 1U/19-inch rack-mounted chassis. Equipped with built-in storage capacity, AQORD *LINK delivers 99.99 percent operational reliability, and its advanced design concept ensures highly dependable performance with low power consumption technology.
