Rede Bahia Selects WASP3D Augmented Reality

Brazil based regional News and Infotainment TV channel Rede Bahia has installed WASP3D’s virtual set solution and touch screen based interactive presentation tool, WASPi Mimosa as a part of its HD studio upgrade.
Rede Bahia is using WASP3D’s tracked virtual set solution with augmented reality graphics for producing a wide range of shows, newscasts, election analysis etc. WASP3D virtual set utilizes third party robotic sensors to fetch tracking data allowing free camera movement in the studio. This makes the set-up process easier and faster as compared to competition. WASPi Mimosa’s interactive technology gives the anchor an option to trigger info graphics in virtual environment directly on the 65" touch screen monitor or using any tablet.
Rede Bahia’s recent municipal election production featured WASP3D’s augmented reality graphics along with 3D virtual graphics in the studio integrated with live election data. The on-screen presentation was further enhanced by utilizing an IPad driven interactive analysis.
