BEAM.TV to show at Cannes Lions

BEAM.TV will be holding daily sessions to demonstrate how production companies, advertising agencies and post facilities have simplified daily workflow by using BEAM.TV as a centralized point of storage for all content and information created during all steps and stages of the production process.
In early 1999, The Mill became the first post-production facility to deliver and receive MPEG and Quicktime files via the Internet. Since then, emill, the Mill's original online delivery service, has successfully handled the delivery of casting tapes, rushes, stills, audio and the approval process of commercials and award winning feature films including 'Gladiator' and 'Tomb Raider'.
Continued development has resulted in a comprehensive range of tools aimed at busy media professionals. These are now compiled as BEAM.TV.
BEAM.TV is far bigger than one facility's website. By signing a network of global partners BEAM.TV makes the delivery of broadcast quality video via the Internet a realistic alternative to unreliable couriers and expensive satellite.
The enhanced archive capabilities allow users to share completed projects, retrieve past commercials, and easily create custom compilation reels online. All easily distributed both internally and externally to clients or prospective partners via a users PC or via BEAMBOX, BEAM.TV's unique television set-top box.

BEAM.TV has created a participant driven model that is based upon how its users currently work and generate revenue. There is no subscription or usage charge until you wish to upload or store content. The number of users is not limited by subscriber-based restrictions and the diversity and services offered by the site continue to grow.
Providing efficiency, increased communication, and lower costs is why BEAM.TV is becoming the industry standard for online production process management.
