World Cup debut for ABC Pele remote head

ABC have announced the release of a new product – the ABC Pelé remote-head – which has seen extensive use during the World Cup in Japan and South Korea.
The ABC Pelé remote-head is a further development of the ABC standard remote-head with increased ease of use, versatility and reliability. ABC Products have integrated their well-known light-cranes with electrically driven remote heads to create the ABC standard remote head and the Pelé remote head. Such remote heads extend the versability of the cranes allowing live shooting even in the most demanding of environments.
The Pelé head can be controlled by digital motors with a programmable ramp allowing precise movement in any circumstance. Zoom and focus for motorised lenses are integrated in the system as well as speed control of pan and tilt.
The joystick direction is switcheable and cameras up to 30kg in weight can be mounted on the head and it will fit to all cranes equipped with the standard euro-mount.
The Pelé remote-head has been chosen for use during the World Football Championship 2002 in Japan and Korea. Altogether 16 pieces with the new ABC crane are being used behind the goalkeepers of each stadium to achieve amazing sequences of this worldwide event.
