Marcus Evans Group Acquires World Productions

In another step toward creating its own production unit the Marcus Evans Group has acquired World Productions.
This follows the Group buying artist agency Ken Mcreddie Associates back in 2008- since this the pair have been working toward creating their own production unit.
Recently purchased, World Productions, has had success with This Life for BBC Two, Ballykissangel for BBC One and other programmes include No Angels and Goldplated for Channel 4.
It is understood that World’s Simon Heath will become creative director, MEE’s Jake Lushington will take on the position of head of drama and Roderick Seligman will continue at the helm as managing director, with Roger Charteris as CEO.
